Summer Rayne - WA Model

Welcome to Baddass Kulture Magazine, so tell us a bit about yourself for those that doesn’t know you?
Well, everyone knows who Inked Kiki is, she’s the Number one Baddass Bitch in Australia. I am a tattooed model, social media influencer as well as being an entrepreneur as I’m trying to get into fashion. My passion is designing my own creative style which I am currently working on my own clothing brand, my own handbags that you don’t see in Australia. I’ve been on some two TV Shows, Love Don’t Judge and Miss Ink Australia Documentary. I am the real-life Inked Barbie, very unique, original and I definitely stand out with my tattoos.
When did you get your first tattoo, describe it and have you added anything to the tattoo?
My first tattoo was when I was in High School, I was only 16 years old and I got the typical tramp stamp, a tribal butterfly design on my lower back which I still have to this day. I started at a very young age and I have been going non stop since then but I still have room left. Wherever there is a gap there is room for a new tattoo. Majority of my tattoos are black and grey done by a portrait artist
Surrounding your belly button is a butterfly, below that are two roses done in black and grey and on the side is a coloured butterfly. Does this have a personal meaning to you?
The one on my ribs that was my second tattoo and was more of a traditional tattoo which was agony, hence why I haven’t got the other rib done. Those ones have the least meanings to me to be honest.
Below this is script which I can’t make out, what does it say and mean?
I’ve actually got two big scripts, the one at the top of my rib cage which says ‘Unbreakable’ and describes me as a person. Down the bottom of my lower stomach, I have ‘Survivor’ and that’s pretty personal to me. Both of them remind me of what I have overcome despite the odds and represents what I stand for as a person.
Let’s go down the front of the right leg with the anchor and rose and underneath that script that says Fuck You. Is all this in reference to anything?
That was a bit of a funny one, my tattoo artist had that idea not me, he conned me into doing that. There was a small gap on the knee so the word did fit the gap very well and I didn’t really care so I’m like sure let’s put that on and it’s not like everyone can read it too much. As for the anchor, I’m a Pisces star sign so I have an anchor and have a mermaid and nature tattoos that all entwine with each other
If you moved that leg around a bit, we would see the mermaid?
Yes, you would see the mermaid and also a lot of nature and native animals because I completely love nature and I have some jaguars and tigers on me. I’ve got the eyes of a tiger across my forearm which if I put them up to my eyes it looks like I have the eye of a tiger. I also have a jaguar on my neck as well which is quite fierce. I’ve got a dreamcatcher with a wolf because I’m very spiritual. I have a few gangsta girl portraits which represents the bad bitch side of me.
Let’s move back to the leg because you have the two theatre clown masks. Please explain?
They also represent the bad bitch side of me, they are custom drawn from my tattoo artist and not off the internet.
Moving back up your body and above your breasts you have a jewelery piece tattoo surrounded by a couple of roses. Very interesting, care to explain more?
That was actually a coverup and a mandala with a jewelled crystal because I’m very spiritual and there’s an amethyst crystal in the middle of my chest and just some mandala pattens and designs which come down to my throat to fill in the rest of my tattoos and bring them all together. That was originally a cover up job that I had and for a cover up tattoo you wouldn’t even tell so it was an amazing work but it hurt a lot.
We talked briefly about your neck tattoo where I see a jaguar baring its teeth and a few other bits and pieces. How painful was it to get your neck inked?
It was very painful and very hard to swallow afterwards but definitely worth the pain but that is one of my painful tattoos as well as my lower stomach, and surprisingly the fingers, who would have thought that little fingers would hurt so much. I got the Barbie tattoo on my neck just before I did Miss Ink Australia and I went to the competition as Inked Barbie Doll. I rocked up in my pink limo, wearing my pink Barbie outfit the day Barbie came out in the movies in Melbourne. It was months of planning, I went there with four pink suitcases and my glam squad, portable make up tables and glam squad took over the event.
